Bullying and Harassment Policy

Bullying occurs when someone repeatedly, and on purpose, says or does mean or hurtful things to another person who has a hard time defending themselves. Furness High School and the School District of Philadelphia are committed to protecting students and preventing all forms of harassment in order to maintain a welcoming and safe learning environment for all students and staff.

Right to Know

Parents of students attending a school that receives Federal Title I money have the right to know the professional qualifications of the teachers and paraprofessionals who instruct their child. Please refer to the letters from the School District (below) for more information:
